About Us
Simply Sumptuous Food was founded in 2007 and born from my love of cooking and enjoying great tasting food. I’ve enjoyed cooking since I was a little girl and used to spend hours in the
kitchen with my mum and grandma learning everything they knew. Over the years I’ve taken time to develop my skills and knowledge working with a variety of chefs specialising in different areas. I’ve also spent many years travelling all over the world and discovering many new tastes, styles & methods of cooking which I incorporate into my classes.
I believe that if you use good quality fresh produce, some creativity and a little planning, then anyone can make a delicious meal. You don’t have to be a top chef to impress.
As a vegetarian for 22 years, I’ve developed lots of fun and interesting ways to make great tasting food using healthier methods. I feel that it’s important to be kind to your body and provide it with plenty of nourishing, fresh food while letting the taste buds enjoy it too!
I want to inspire people to add plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, pulses & grains into their diets. These can be made into some really tasty, interesting and amazing meals and should be included as part of a balanced diet. I like to use Organic produce where possible as I believe this is not only better for us but it is also better for the environment.
More recently I’ve enjoyed writing a column for a local Northern Beaches magazine The Splash with a focus on cooking with seasonal produce to create delicious, fresh meals.
As part of my commitment to the local community I also run several classes through the local community colleges, Manly Warringah, Mosman and the North Sydney Centre.
I invite you to come along to one of my classes where I will share my passion for food with you.

I had a great time at the vegetarian cooking class.
It’s a lovely venue and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. The food is amazing and I am still eating the left overs...yum! I would definitely recommend it to others.
